DesignGhar

Redefining the Creative Suite Experience for the Desi Design Community

Project Overview

DesignGhar is a next-gen design software aiming to become a powerful alternative to traditional tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator — but with a simplified, intuitive interface and a local, user-friendly approach.

To support this mission, the brand needed a visually modern, highly functional UI that resonates with young designers, creators, and businesses — especially in South Asia.

Design Goals

  • Build a visually sleek UI that feels fresh, powerful, and professional

  • Prioritize ease-of-use for beginners, while retaining depth for pro designers

  • Integrate local design vibes without compromising global standards

  • Create a platform that’s competitive, fast, and inspiring

UI Design Execution

The interface was crafted to reflect the brand's dual focus on creativity and performance:

  • Dark-mode UI with vibrant tool highlights for less eye strain

  • Simplified toolbars inspired by both Adobe and Figma workflows

  • Modular workspace — customizable layers, tools, and canvas controls

  • Local touch: Default templates for poster/flyer sizes used in South Asia

  • Animated onboarding for first-time users, explaining tools in seconds

  • Seamless asset import/export with drag-and-drop functions

Hypothetical Impact

  • 70% Increase in Social Media Presence
The bold and unique UI visuals helped position DesignGhar as the “Desi Adobe alternative” — shared widely by creators and meme pages, increasing community engagement.

  • 40% Increase in Brand Recognition
Designers started recognizing the name and interface through reels, mockups, and web showcases. Within months, it built a distinct brand identity among aspiring digital creators.

Deliverables

  • Full UI Design (Dashboard, Workspace, Tool Panels, Asset Library)

  • Prototype showcasing layer editing, brushes, text tools, and artboards

  • Onboarding flow for new users

  • Brand visuals for launch teaser, product walkthroughs, and app store

Conclusion

DesignGhar is more than just another design software — it’s a movement to empower creators with tools that are accessible, powerful, and relatable. The UI design reflects this spirit: bold, inclusive, and performance-driven.
